Kipper, an endearing beagle-like dog, introduces youngsters to two hedgehogs, three hamsters, four hens.Â… you get the idea. The placement of the animals on the double-page spreads makes it fun--but not too challenging--to count them. Mick Inkpen's playful, whimsical drawings make Kipper's Book of Numbers stand out from the acres of early counting books. (Picture book) Product Description: Kipper the dog counts himself, hedgehogs, hamsters, hens, tortoises, moles, chicks, frogs, snails, and ten friends in this presentation ofthe numbers from one to ten. ![]() Rating: - kipper the corgiemy son loves kipper's show and his books, we read every day. btw, kipper is an english corgie. Rating: - all Kipper books are great!my grandchildren love Kipper....my only question is what kind of dog do the readers think he is?? I can't seem to even find the answer on the internet. Rating: - Cool, cute and originalOkay, so a book that shows the numbers one through ten is nothing to get really excited about. Still, I really loved this one. Kipper is very cute and he gets to count neat things. Most books count fire engines or dots. Boring. Kipper plays with snails, hedgehogs, and moles! Great illustrations. Fun!
