 Rating:  - Beautiful ThrillerIt's been a long time since I've read such a beautiful and suspenseful love story. I've added Shirlee Busbee to my fave authors list. I couldn't put this book down and highly recommend it. Can't wait to read the second book in the series. Rating:  - Very EnjoyableThis book was fabulous! This is the first book by Busbee that I have read and I was pleasantly surprised. The twists and turns in the plot make this book impossible to put down and the characters compliment each other perfectly. I would have read it all in one day if I could have. "Scandal Becomes Her" is similar to "Swear By The Moon". Nevertheless, I enjoyed the story. Shirlee Busbee still writes wonderful stories after so many years, while many past favourite romance writers (e.g. Johanna Lindsey, Virginia Henley, Brenda Joyce, etc) are suffering from burnt-out. This book had everything I love, romance aplenty, suspense, gorgeous sexy men but the end ruined it for me!It seems that the author was in a hurry to finish the book... Rating: - New to this author...Although a longtime romance reader I was new to this author and on a friend's recommendation read this book. Though I will admit it took me a bit of time to get into the story I found the story to be well done and in all honesty read like much older romances. The conflicts have been done before but the way in which this author presented them in this story made them seem fresh and new.
