When authors Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins first imagined Left Behind, their goal was to create "...the first fictional portrayal of events that are true to the literal interpretation of Bible prophecy." Left Behind began as a sleeper, starting slowly and building steadily, selling by word of mouth. Eventually the book became a bestseller and LaHaye and Jenkins discovered that the story would take more than one book to tell, so they continued the tale in Tribulation Force. Set against the backdrop of the Rapture, in which Jesus has returned as promised to gather his followers and remove them from this world, the characters in Tribulation Force must confront life without their loved ones, struggle with evil unleashed on the world, and ultimately embrace God's truth for themselves. Pilot Rayford Steele, his daughter Chloe, journalist Buck Williams, and pastor Bruce Barnes band together to study the Bible, pray, and support one another through this time of terror and uncertainty. They realize that Nicolae Carpathia is the prophesied Antichrist, as they watch him consolidate his power. Buck and Rayford find themselves employees of Nicolae, keeping their faith in Jesus secret so that they can continue to work and share their faith unhindered while secretly fighting the Antichrist with the other members of the tribulation force. The authors have drawn a story of intrigue and adventure set against a cataclysm of global proportions. Readers captivated by Left Behind will certainly want to read Tribulation Force. Product Description: Created by a leader in graphic novels to the general market, this is an entirely new format for Christian product. These are not the comic books you remember, but a new way to communicate with ages 12 and up. The adventure continues with volumes III-V of Tribulation Force, the second book in the Left Behind Graphic Novel series. Volume III--As the Trib Force bands tightly together, Nicolae Carpathia increases in power and influence. Volume IV--Startling discoveries, mysterious strangers, and shocking secrets shatter the calm surface of the world. Volume V--As the world begins its slide toward corruption and degradation, the Trib Force bravely faces violence and tragedy. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Tribulation ForceAs with the first book in the series, I find it very hard to put them down. I just want to know what is going to happen next. I am now on the 4th in the series and they are all just as good as this. I just wish they were in stock at the stores so I do not have to wait for them, but have learned and keep ordering them two at a time. Great Series! would highly recommend. Rating: - One of the best books ever! The whole series is great! If you didn't believe before, trust me u will believe now! Rating: - Bad group name, good book.Where I think the name of the Force is hokey and overblown the book in and of itself isn't bad. The characters are good and compelling the subject interesting and frightening. Esp. being a Christian, it's scarey that this could happen in my future. Obviously, it's a work of fiction, so it's not to be taken literally but as an entertainment. However, it does give an idea how people can be taken in and controlled by evil. As for some of the characters the only one, at this point that aggrevates ... Read More Rating: - Tribulation ForceThe book was advertised accurately and it was in fine shape when I received it. Thanks Rating: - A light read considering the heavy subject materialIt's not hard too hard to understand why this series was so successful. It's written in a very easy to read style, the pacing is quick, the subject matter is very interesting, and it's obviously written in a style to appeal to women and men. The romance element of this book is a little strange; why in a book about the end times and the Antichrist is a romance element so prominent? (Does she like me? Does she not like me?) The book is definitely not as heavy as Randy Alcorn's Deadline (Ollie Chandler Series ... Read More
