![]() Rating: - Great book for kidsMy 5 year old son lOVES this book. Much of it is a bit over his head but he enjoys it because it describes in detail how GROSS things in your body work. This book is not for the squeamish or for most grandparents. Rating: - Another gross book which can't be put down!I bought this book for my three sons because they (and I) LOVED Grossology. Once again, they (and I) were laughing and 'grossing out' while they read. If science were taught this way in school, I'm sure my boys would look forward to learning all the more. Highly recommended for reading to your children or leaving them to read alone...all while laughing your heart out, with a load of 'eeewws' included. As my oldest son said, "It's 'grosser' than the other...'grosser' and just as funny." Rating: - Make learning fun for your kidsWho says science has to be boring? Our kids (7, 6, 4) are about the ideal ages (better for the 7 year old than the 4 year old though). I bet 10 year olds would still enjoy it. Our daughter enjoyed it as much as our sons - don't think it is just for boys. Kids have an odd fascination with all of the topics in the book (e.g., snot). The grossness draws them in, and the text is engaging so that they actually learn something while having fun. Rating: - Grossology and youThis is a great book. It uses all the correct terms, shows the child how to say the word, and presents the facts in a fun and easy way for children to understand, not to mention a few giggles to boot! Rating: - Great for the younger childrenI have two children, ages 6 & 8. Both of them sat down and had full attention the entire time I read it! Filled with tons of niffy facts...and gross ones too! Even I learned a few things!
