Every night, he is with her: his face, his voice. Tonight, Sara Marten will meet the man who is both angel and demon, salvation and temptation: Falcon—the Carpathian, the banished hero. Tonight, Sara will meet the dark-eyed destroyer destined to be her mate. A DREAM OF STONE & SHADOW Marjorie M. Liu There are those who do terrible things in this world, and those who simply watch. Charlie would do neither. Imprisoned, his only release is through his own destruction—or through Aggie Durand. Sweet as a kiss or a rescued child, she is the one dream he does not dare desire. As an agent of Dirk & Steele, she could be his salvation. Today, Charlie’s dream is waking. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Very goodBought this book strictly for the Christine Feehan novel but i was not at all disappointed with the other two. Very good match of writers and interesting stories. But to all the Christine Fans out there, they do sell Dark Dream seperately. Somewhere. lol Rating: - 2 FerThis 2 fer one book was fun. I already enjoy listening to Christine Feehan's Dark series. The short story by Marjorie M. Lui was fun. Not too many gargoyle stories in modern settings on the market. I would like to read more about the collaboration between the paranormal PI and the socially conscious gargoyle. What a hunk even if he morphed from a shadow to a living gargoyle with witch problems. Rating: - Dark DreamersThough Feehan's tale came up a little short, I really liked the Marjorie M. Liu story--very different... Both tales a nice blend of story telling, sensuality and bold sexuality. Something about Liu's tale left me feeling quite satisfied--I don't often I find myself actively wishing for a certain outcome... Rating: - Always greatFeehan is great, as always. The Liu piece is also great and you should know that it is actually the #4 story in the Dirk and Steele series. Rating: - Enjoyed reading this bookI am a fan of Christine Feehan but had not read anything by Liu. This was a good read to get me excited about reading her work. I am now on my third book by her.
