 Rating:  - Great for quick reference"Back in the good old days" the pony club manual was all one book, but this guide still gives easy to understand diagrams and explanations of what everyone riding needs to learn. I think it's great for adults and kids alike. Rating:  - Basics for Beginners--Old newsThis is a basic primer for beginners and children, but it is reminiscent of books I read thirty years ago. The sketches are good and the explanations clear. I wanted more detailed information. You can find this info along with a lot more basic information from other books. I felt it was drasticly overpriced, unless funds go to some charity as a fund raiser. I expected more than this book delivered for the money. Rating: - What horse people really need to know!This is where to find the information on horses that you really need but no one ever properly explains. This book puts it more clearly than any other source. When you take lessons or go to shows, you hear about conformation, movement and soundness, but you really need a primer like this to understand what people are talking about. After you read this book, you could converse with a judge like an expert. Rating: - Great book for Pony Club kidsWith my daughter being in Pony Club and me being joint DC for our club this book is recomended reading for our members. I can see why it is very helpful and an easy read. So people that don't know much about conformation will be able to get it. I give this book 5 stars as well as her other books.
