While the content is extensive and will take you from novice to expert, the beginning guitarist will struggle with the sparse instruction. Much is left to the imagination to figure out the point of the lesson. When there is explaination it is almost of no use as the author has tried to strip down any prose instruction to the bare minimum at the expense of usability.
