 Rating:  - Great in conjunction with a teacher.AT the beginning, this book is easy to work through alone but as you get farther along you will need a teacher to explain exactly what they are trying to teach you and to give more explanation. Basically, I think this book is intended for someone who has played base in a band for 10 years, and then wants to switch to lead guitar. Yes, that person is a "beginner," but realistically they already have a solid foundation.
