 Rating: - log cabins with attitude I love the book. It was purchased because our guild was doing one of the patterns and I live a distance away and often need extra help. The book not only has explicit directions but presents many different log cabins and ways to put them together. It is easy enough for a beginner but has style. The "Stone Cottage" pattern could probably be taught to very young children for their first quilt. I highly recommend the book to anyone who is looking for a different way to make a log cabin.
