![]() Rating: - Purposeful Primitive. What an amazing book.It just shows you what is possible with regards to getting stronger.Such an inspiration.Even shows how ordinary very weak de-conditioned people got strong very quickly whilst only walking and using a barbell twice a week. Rating: - Life transforming book! This is an excellent book for those seeking to "go back to basics" and take the journey to physical fitness. Easy to read with tremendous stories of "the masters". Great read. Rating: - A great point of reference, basic but effective information. This book is well written and should be used as a reference point whenever you design a training programme. Time and time again the greatest athletes in strength tell how they did it using simple compound exercises, this tells you how. Rating: - Excellent book, for the beginner to the advanced powerlifterI have been lifting weights on and off for over thirty years, literally since I was 13. I am now 45. I have an extensive collection of weightlifting and bodybuilding books, totaling probably 20 or more. Let me tell you, this is a great book. Rating: - read it slowlyvery, very good. so much information i am reading this very slowly. savoring the info like a good wine. read about a lot of this before, writing is excellent, buy it. just proceed slowly with care as a lot of us are older iron heads.
