This book will teach you how to setup a lab and making identificaiton of the gemstone without attending the gemology school - with very very reasonable price. Rating: - Needs More DetailThe book was good for a primer on gem tools and iidentification but lacked the detail I was seeking. It is an very good book for the beginner for it covers a lot of subjects about gem and the various tools used to identify them. I was seeking more exact detail and this book did not have it.
