 Rating:  - How to Become a Good GrandfatherI found the practical advise that I needed to be able to deal with my 7 grandkids (all under 8). Easy to read and easy to apply. Good solid advise about how to deal with your grown up kids and their children. Exactly what I was looking for when searching for grandparenting guideance. Rating:  - outdated- advocates spankingI have been a huge advocate of all the other Love and Logic books, and am greatly disappointed to see that this book advocates spanking. The more recent publications do not. This book needs to be released with a correction to the spanking portion, or pulled from the marked entirely, as it does not comply with the author's current views on spanking. I WAS planning on giving the book as a gift to my parents. Instead, I am returning the book to amazon.com at my cost. Rating: - Highly Recommend this bookVery good information for the grandparent to follow, to aid the parents and back them up. Consistancy helps both the child and the parents and I found this very helpful. Rating: - Not sure B. Beaux's agenda but this book is phenominal!B. Beaux's review is not even for this book - it seems as though his political agenda should be put in a blog not a book review. I was a teacher so I am extremely familiar with Love and Logic - they are based out of Evergreen - not Colorado Springs and have no affiliation with any "christian cult".
