 Rating: - Very Fun and Effective! Highly Recommended"Vocabulary Cartoons II" follows Vocabulary Cartoons: SAT Word Power. While some of the clever cartoons are not quite as good as those in the first book, this is an enjoyable way for kids to learn words likely to be on the PSAT/SAT. We found these to be a great help and I even enjoyed reading through the book. Highly recommended! Rating:  - sadly disappointingThe book is a good idea. The words they picked are definately words you would need for the SATs. The artistry and words used to help recall the vocabulary words were helpful. My regret is that this book was written for children and it had too much nudity, refferances to private body parts, womanization, refferances to violence/war,and poor behavior. I have a hard enough time trying to teach my kids integrity. With a little tweeking this book could be awesome. Rating: - very good and interesting studying materialI bought this book to study for my SAT exams. I haven't taken them yet, but so far, I've managed to learn a ton new words. This book not only makes learning easy and fun (at least compared to the other SAT wordlists I've bought) they have tests and quizes at the end of every group of 10 words. It really helps you to memorize and retain the words. Overall, this is a very good book and it comes in a convenient size so you can study on the go. She learned, and more amazingly, retained so many of these words over the past year and a half since going through the books. This system makes it so fun and easy to increase vocabulary.
