Child psychologist, Dr. Jerry Wilde, speaks directly to children and adolescents in a language they can easily understand. ![]() Rating: - My reviewI am an intensive in-home therapist who works with chldren and adolescents ages 5 - 17. A lot of my clients have anger issues and I have been using this book with those age 13 and younger. We read a page together and then talk about any of the questions that are asked and take any surveys, etc. during our sessions. Some of the sarchastic humor and tongue-in-cheek humor was very tough for younger children and/or kids with lower intellectual functioning. When I tried to use this several times with kids; the concepts did not engage them and seemed to go above their heads. I would also like this book more if it was sectioned off in short activities and lessons. Although I do not have any teenage clients at this time; ... Read More
