I had heard the Eyewitness travel books were wonderful, which is why I selected this one. I was not disappointed. It was incredibly helpful; pictures and text. Rating:  - Fantastic!! A must-have book for your trip to Ireland!Hands down, this is THE travel book one needs for planning a trip to Ireland. Filled with wonderful photos and drawings and interesting text that really tells you about each area, this will be a wonderful resource prior to and during your travels.
