I was totally unaware of the extent of the addiction until it was in fact too late. But reading this, I reallized some of the most bizarre behaviors, where from his hiding the addiction. Although the book helped me to deal with my own hurt by finding someone who understood my pain, in the end, focusing on my pain was a dead end. I wholeheartedly agree with the reviewer who shared that instead of turning to books or people, she went back to the Bible and of course to God. God's word is what helped me to overcome and make the right choices for my situation. I moved on and have no regrets. Some have added this book to their own website recommended list. However, I find her story very dark and shows little hope for wives suffering from the affiar(s) of an unfaithful husband. I was however disappointed that in spite of all that the author did, her husband did not leave pornography.
