Rating:  - It's an OK book but...I bought this book by accident I really wanted the complete third edition not a pocketbook size highlights book. I'd have returned it but it wasn't worth the effort. Buy the 776 page Third Edition - the fourth edition has a few pages more and is organized differently but I decided on the Third Edition (price was right.) Rating: - Prescription for nutritional healing: the a-z guide to supplementsI was diasappointed in this and the "sister" book. I found no information on herbs I have used for my IBS. I also found the layout of both books confusing. I was hoping for a complete list of all herbal products, their uses, contraindications, and dosages for maximum efficacy. I would have returned it, but needed it for a gift that week. Rating: - An excellent health resourceThis is part of a large book, The Prescription for Nutritional Healing, and an excellent resource for information on supplements.
