![]() Rating: - Acceptable content Unacceptable flawsThe book has general good content but the editing flaws are unacceptable; sadly, not an uncommon occurrence with Reedswain books in my experience. On pages 51 and 53 the author refers to the 4-4-3 system. Huh? Figure 27 on page 54 is never referred to in the text. Perhaps they meant Fig. 26 on page 53. Who knows! Problems such as this obviously take away from the overall content and leave you wondering if you can trust the information. Rating: - Gives you more depth in tacticsThis book is suited for coaches who wants to learn more about defensive tactics. It's not a book for beginners although many exercises in this book should, in my opinion, be utilised already in youth soccer to help youngsters understand basic defensive skills.
