 Rating:  - Exceptional resource for learning and design inspirationI'm an amateur-to-semipro designer and found this book to be absolutely wonderful. Besides some great principles it offers an amazing collection of examples, several on each page. They illustrate Samara's points well, and also provide a profusion of design ideas. I started by using post-its to mark pages that made especially good points, or that I wanted to revisit. By the time I was half-way through I realized I'd marked nearly every page. Rating: - Great Design GuideFor the novice, even the technologist who is not a graphical designer, this is an excellent text on graphical style. It is probably the only guide you'll ever need. Very complete, very detailed and inspires good use of graphics, text and even space. Excellent. They loved the front content (20 rules for good design). This book is a must have in the library. Rating:  - Great book; too bad you won't be able to read itIt is a shame to see such a Herculean effort rendered unreadable by a low-contrast and minuscule font. I have 20-20 vision, but simply could not get even half way through this book before giving up. I feel for the author and hope that he will try again with this same material.
