Not really meant for elementary teachers, due to content is going in the direction of older kids and how to deal with those types of situations. Just my opinion. I am very happy that I ordered this book before I started to teach, it gave me some new ideas on connecting with the students and dealing with crises. I recommend it for all new teachers to read before standing up in front of that first classroom of students!
