Not really meant for elementary teachers, due to content is going in the direction of older kids and how to deal with those types of situations. Just my opinion. Read More Rating: - Amazing bookBeing a new teacher later in life really scared me to death, but this book helped to smooth the edges as I enter the classroom as a teacher for the first time. I am very happy that I ordered this book before I started to teach, it gave me some new ideas on connecting with the students and dealing with crises. I recommend it for all new teachers to read before standing up in front of that first classroom of students!
