![]() Rating: - I loved the beginning...I loved the beginning of this book, I thought it was so beautiful. I loved it until the middle, when the main characters hit a bump. Then, it moved so slow I skipped a lot of it so I could see what happened in the end. Rating: - Decent Summer Read, But Doesn't Move Beyond Overall, I think this is a decent summer read, but this book does not move beyond that in terms of emotional impact or plot. The novel had a good hook from the start, that I cared about the characters despite the fact that they were not as developed as they could have been. Biggest problem is the less than believable plot twist which defines the work, when the secret of Riley's medical condition cannot be revealed by her sister Alice to her boyfriend Paul for an entire year.
