Editorial Review: Product Description: What is a lady to do when her chosen rake changes h er lessons in seduction to lessons of love? Book two in the Once Upon an Accident series Cecily Ware understands how society works. At the age of twenty-six, she has been around long enough to know that she is doomed to spinsterhood. But she refuses to go without ever knowing what it is like to be with a man. So she comes up with a wonderful plan to find a rake to teach her, complete with a list of possibilities. At the top of that list sits Douglas the Duke of Ethingham. When he asks Lady Cecily to waltz, Douglas never expected her to request seduction, or that it would intrigue him quite as much. With each glance, each smile, each touch, he finds himself falling under her spell, unable to resist her lure. In her he finds a soul mate, someone as lonely as he is, who understands his pain, and will give herself to him without demands or expectations. But as he finds himself falling in love, he also discovers a wicked plot to kill Lady Cicely. As they race to discover who wants her dead, they fall deeper in love, leaving them to decide if the lessons in seduction could lead to a lifetime of happiness. Average Rating:

Rating: - A complete waste of money!I love reading Regency Romances, but some are better than others. I have never read one written by Ms Schroeder before and I certainly will not be reading one again! Why did the author have to set this story in the Regency times when the banal plot seemed more suited to modern western world, such as Bridget Jones diary? Ms Schroeder seems to have very little grasp of how people behaved in those times, for instance nobody would say 'okay', and a Duke would certainly know who an Earl in the Beau-monde ... Read More Rating: - A GREAT SEQUEL - VERY TENDER AND SEXY!Brimming with incredible tenderness, charm and witty dialogue, LESSONS IN SEDUCTION makes its appearance, the second in the Accidental series by Melissa Schroeder. Lady Cecily Ware has adapted well to life with her "family". Her shadowed past (crazy father and a mother who tried to murder her cousin Sebastian's wife) is one of the reasons why she is now firmly on the spinster shelf. At the age of six and twenty, she has no illusions of any marriage offers - even though her dowry is quite ... The characters are in depth and I found myself laughing at the heroine because she is so funny and independent. I enjoy books by Melissa Schroeder. This is definitely a keeper! Rating: - Lessons in Seduction-A Joyfully Recommended Title! At age of twenty-six, Lady Cicely Ware is considered to be quite on the shelf. She's quite determined however, not to let spinsterhood keep her from knowing what it feels like to experience passion and she quickly comes up with a list of rakes that she believes will be able to teach her. She's always been halfway in love with Douglas, the Duke of Ethingham, so during a waltz she propositions him. Douglas is stunned when Cicely asks him to seduce her and quickly refuses. Although Cicely is disappointed ... Read More
