 Rating:  - Not much more substance than a Harlequin NovelI have been home sick and was looking for a good book to read. My Mom had ordered this book and passed it on to me. Quite honestly, I don't think I'll ever read another Nicholas Sparks novel. Although, I have enjoyed some of his earlier works, The Notebook and Message in a Bottle, this book seemed to have little more substance than a Harlequin novel. Call me jaded, but that's the way I felt. Rating:  - The BESTI am never disappointed with a Nicholas Sparks best, this was no exception. I enjoyed this book all the way to the last page and started counting the days until the next book comes out. Rating:  - Great book!This was my second Nicholas Sparks read. I read 'The Wedding' first after watching and LOVING 'The Notebook' movie. The wedding was okay, the last bit of it, but it took a while to get good. I bought The Lucky One because it had better reviews on here and I liked Nicholas' writing style. And it was hard for me to put down, great book, highly recommend it! Rating: - LOVED this book!The book was written at a good pace, it kept my interest the whole time I was reading it. I have been busy being "Mommy", it's been a long time since I read a book for pleasure and this was a great one to get me back into the swing of reading for fun! GREAT GREAT book and I look forward to reading ohter Nicholas Sparks books. Rating: - the lucky oneNot as good as other Sparks books. Just personal opinion. It did hold my interest.
