Million Dollar Pet Pix

Zipper is our new blue-eyed budle of joy. We got him as a brand new kitten when our cousin's cat had kittens.

We named this little furball Zipper because as soon as he could, he would zip around at lightning speed. A wild cat!

Zippy zips from room to room and floor to floor so fast that sometimes he looks like lightning. Just a streak.

Lolita is a lovely old doll. She is a prima donna and very independent. Preening and posing is in her blood.

She is mostly an oudoor cat who still enjoys hunting for field mice and scaring all the local birds and chipmunks. They know she's a lot slower than she used to be, so there is a lot of teasing that goes on between all these funny little creatures.

Pounce! Gotcha! These are the main thoughts in TiggerToo's head we are convinced. This fluffy little cat has the instincts of a tiger and the energy of dynamite. A more curious cat we have not seen. TiggerToo is into everything and if we didn't know better we would think she was part ferret, as she races around frantically all the time.

This is one of our star pets... our cat called Nutmeg who is an orange tabby and who is always hungry.

He came to us through the Humane Society in November 2002 . 

When Nutmeg wants a treat, he walks to the cupboard and sharpens his big cat claws on the edge until you reward him.

This is my loyal old cat Fiddle. She is great company for me since I am retired and live alone. (We used to have a small dog as a pet many years ago.) Fiddle is always around the place. She sits with me on the deck, in the sunroom or follows me around as I do my gardening.

Meet Emilio our wonder cat! Right now he's napping but soon we'll wonder where he's gone to!

Emilio stays around the garden and snoozes at every opportunity. The only times this changes is when he hears his food dish being moved. Then, he opens one eye to check if there is anyhing to worry about and if not, he returns to full nap mode.

Our blue-eyed fuzzy little fur baby is a kitten named Bing.

Bing is the last kitten of a litter we got from our friend's old cat Jessie last fall.  All the other kittens (6) in the litter were given to good homes. 

Bing seemed to connect with us right away. We've recently had her speyed so that we won't be adding to the overpopulation of cats.
