Million Dollar Pet Pix

This lovely big cat is our family friend. She's a great mouser and guard cat. She likes to sun herself on the walkway but the sound of a pet treats bag being opened always gets her moving.  We love her rich dark color and her big swishy tail.

Normally it is all pretty safe though a few times I got back in the early morning after a run-in with some other gals that were none to friendly.

Zipper is our new blue-eyed bundle of joy. We got him as a brand new kitten when our cousin's cat had kittens.

We named this little furball Zipper because as soon as he could, he would zip around at lightning speed. A wild cat!

Lolita is a lovely old doll. She is a prima donna and very independent. Preening and posing is in her blood.

She is mostly an oudoor cat who still enjoys hunting for field mice and scaring all the local birds and chipmunks. They know she's a lot slower than she used to be, so there is a lot of teasing that goes on between all these funny little creatures.

Pounce! Gotcha! These are the main thoughts in TiggerToo's head we are convinced. This fluffy little cat has the instincts of a tiger and the energy of dynamite. A more curious cat we have not seen. TiggerToo is into everything and if we didn't know better we would think she was part ferret, as she races around franticall ...

Here's our other star pet... another cat, a Calico, we call TS Elliot and named after the poet of Cats. This lovely cat weighs in at a mighty 5.5 lbs and was born on June 25, 1990.

This is one of our star pets... our cat called Nutmeg who is an orange tabby and who is always hungry.

He came to us through the Humane Society in November 2002 . 

When Nutmeg wants a treat, he walks to the cupboard and sharpens his big cat claws on the edge until you reward him.

This is my loyal old cat Fiddle. She is great company for me since I am retired and live alone. (We used to have a small dog as a pet many years ago.) Fiddle is always around the place. She sits with me on the deck, in the sunroom or follows me around as I do my gardening.
