Hi everyone. Think you'll like the my back yard pet pal that I call Sully. I have a cat named Simon and a dog named Tobi, but thought I'd put this cute little critter in here to make you smile even more.
I first noticed this little guy when me and my friends were trying to build a fort in the ravine behind our house. We were just walking around in the woods trying to figure out which tree would work best for our fort when we spied this little face staring at us from behind a tree branch. A cool racoon...
Naturally we took a lot of time trying to get this guy to come down from the tree so we could see him better. We put bits of fruit out on the ground and when he finally did come down we shared our sandwiches and biscuits with him.
Now, Sully is a regular at our new tree house. He shows up there almost every day that we're there and we always take a little treat for him. He seems to really like cookies and nuts. We think Sully is really cute. He doesn't get in our way at all... he just sort of hangs around and watches what we do. We have not seen any other racoons around, so wonder if Sully has any family.
When we don't get to the tree house Sully follows us home and tries to get the bird seed from the bird feeder. This always ends in someone going out to chase Sully away. Not me though, 'cause I like to watch him playing around. Racoons are very smart and remind me a lot of all the squirrels in our yard too.
