Hi everyone! We don't have our own house pet, but I wanted to join the PetPix Time Capsule to show off the lovely turtles who live in the pond on our farm.
We call them The Turtle Clan!
Our children and grandchildren love to spend time by the pond. We all really enjoy this family of turtles. We sit on the dock we built by the pond and watch them sunning themselves and playing in the water... like you see here.
These turtles are called Red-eared Sliders because they have red markings just below their ears. Though they are fairly common we think they are very pretty. We like to watch them grow and bring popcorn to feed them sometimes, which they seem to enjoy.
