I really like that your team is represented by pets. A very creative and fun idea.  Whoever chose these did a great job!  Keiran D. - New Marketing Grad - Dublin

Horacio the Philosopher

Horacio is our pet star! Horacio is our philosopher cat... not quite Garfield but a close second! His cool composure and swift surveys of any situation make us smile a lot.

Horacio leapt into our hearts at a country fair. Well, into my heart. He was being kep cool is a wire basket, along with his three siblings, under a table heaped with luxurious jams and country preserves.

I asked to peek at the wriggling little kittens. The lovely woman at this stall said that they were for sale. I smiled. My husband wandered away. My mind raced as I petted the fawn furball that had attracted my attention immediately. He was not begging to be rescued, he was aloof. "We don't need a cat. We don't want a cat. Our fancy free live is already perfect. Cats need care. Cats wreck furniture. They make messes and swing on the drapes. Who needs the aggravation? Cats shed hair, cough up furballs and eat plants. No, no, no. No cats."

It was a sunny day. I was in an excellent mood. The little cat captured my heart. What else can I say. My logical self went on vacation as I told the woman I'd take the fawn kitten with the lovely green eyes. I was vowing in my heart to care for it and give it a good home, just as my husband returned to see what was delaying me. When he found that I'd decided to get this kitten he just shrugged and smiled saying "Love is love." The kitten was christened "Horacio the Philosopher" on the spot.

Horacio has been in lots of trouble... like all cats, he's scratched the furniture, swung on the drapes and wrecked some of our plants. Despite all of this, we've enjoyed watching him trying to think his way out of the many predicaments he's gotten into over the years.

Not a day goes by however that this lovely feline does not add joy to our world and a lot of laughs. When he's bad he gets the name "Harry the Horror" and on good days we use his nickname which oddly enough is "Ciao"... a name that just kind of evolved.

Horacio loves catnip-filled toys and curling up behind us on the back of our chairs when we are relaxing. He's made us into sincere, loving and definitely crazy cat people.

Horacio is our pet star!
