Hi everyone. I'd like you to meet my pet pal Hubble... he's a hammy kinda guy. I got this hamster for a pet because it I didn't have time to look after a dog and this guy looked way cool. Agree? The other reason is that my girlfirend also fell in love with the little guy.
Hubble, or Hub as I call him, is easy to entertain and he entertains me too. He makes the weirdest faces and sounds. I've finally gotten used to all the racket he makes at night, but it sure took me a while to get adjusted. Think he may think the same about my music, so guess we're even. My girl friend looks after all the feeding, so I just look after cleaning out the "monster" cage.
I built the "monster" cage for this hammy hamster... a really neat oversized home for him so that he would have lots of room to play. Believe it or not it actually has like sixteen levels that even includes a small slide and three different exercise wheels. Man, this is already one very fit little hamster.
I built in my metal shop at school. Some of my buddies helped me to work on it and we got an A+ on it! Wow, maybe we'll go into busines with it... so you won't see any pics of it here in case I decide to market it one day soon. Yeah, then maybe I'l buy an advertising star here to get the word out! Have sworn my buds and our shop teacher to secrecy until we can come up with a business plan that the bank might look at. So stay tuned!
Anyway, Hub is a great pet. He races around his new home and makes everyone laugh. It's a blast to watch Hub go down the slide into the wood shavings at the bottom of the third level. Whata hoot. He scoots back up the ramp and does the slide thing over and over. He's a wild man!
Since everything is still a novelty, Hub is on his own for now, but in another month or so I'm thinking I'll get him a mate... have been checking with the pet shop for a wek now trying to find the right little personality that could match Hub's. Crazy... hammy match-making. Already have a name picked out for the lovely lady though... think we'll call her Bubble... get it? Hubble Bubble! A little humour there... yup I know, ... very little!
