I am sure you will agree that our lovely cat Pippens is very pretty indeed. Well, he would probably not be happy being called "pretty", so let's just say he is "Hamsome" instead.
We like how fluffy he looks and his white chest hairs and white paws make him look distinguished. Pip Pip, eh what?
Pippens is a very dear cat that has a very gentle personality. He keeps me company so much so that I should perhaps have called him Shadow. He keeps himself well groomed and is always nice and quiet around visitors. His favourite chair is my favourite chair, so it is sometimes a tussle as to who gets this seat. Like any other self-respecting cat, Pippens usually wins the day.
We adopted Pippens from a local farm. My wife and I were out for a drive and saw the proverbial "kittens free to good home" sign at the drive. When we went in we quickly fell in love with this little guy who was only wee at the time. He is a great mouser and often presents "gifts" to us from hunting forrays he undertakes at night. Most often these gifts are mice, but once in a while he gets some of our birds who come to the bird table. We're not happy about this, but then, it is just nautre.
We think Pips is very elegant to look on and charming to have around the place. Pips also enjoys being around children and he is very protective of our little girl. We think he is happiest when when he gets fish treats from the scraps of our fish suppers we have every so often. When we do give him some of these tasty fish morsels we are very careful to make sure that there are no bones in the fish for him to choke on.
Pips is a great companion and we're so happy to show him off here in this lovely time caspule for pets. Thank you.
