The newest addition to our family is this absolutely beautiful puppy that is a cross of a rottweiller, shepherd and Akita. This little gal was brought to me when I was quite ill recently. She was placed in my arms where she remained for an hour, calm and soothing. Her only move was to place her head on my shoulder. True puppy love.
When her owner came to take her back home, I cried. It had been such a peace-filled hour with this pup. I was rejuvenated! To my surprise only a week later, my husband asked me to go bring this puppy back to our home... he also wanted a pet dog! I happily went to collect our new pet and she was very excited when I picked her up. She has seven siblings from the same litter and they are all healthy and happy looking.
This little puppy's skills are increasing daily, from chewing the envelope left here by a high school teacher, to placing her teeth on a knob which opened the bar in our diningroom. Wonder if there is any point in leaving the orange juice there so she can learn to pour at "Happy Hour?" Ostara is a real charmer (takes after her grandfather in our family) for sure! We know there are many happy hours to come in our future together. We are most grateful for our lovely Ostara. Her name means Life and Energy and she is surely is that! She's already an important part of our family and our grandchildren are crazy about her.
