Million Dollar Pet Pix

This is one of our star pets... our cat called Nutmeg who is an orange tabby and who is always hungry.

He came to us through the Humane Society in November 2002 . 

When Nutmeg wants a treat, he walks to the cupboard and sharpens his big cat claws on the edge until you reward him.

His favourite activity is hunting bugs.  Once he caught a huge dragonfly, so big it couldn't all fit into his mouth. 

He was absolutely stuck, as it was still fluttering in and around his mouth.  

Poor Nutmeg couldn't eat it nor open his mouth in fear of losing it. 

He is also a lap man... he loves to sleep in our laps and weighing in at over 12 lbs you sure know when he's there!  Nutmeg loves to torments his "sister", Elliot who is our other cat and star pet.  He can't go past her without touching her somehow. She just hates this and always spits at him.  Then there is excitement as he chases her around the house!
