Lou Lou is our beautiful black and white Husky dog. She was best pals with our dear Lex, who passed away recently.
Lou Lou and Lex were great company for one another and now Lou Lou seems a bit lost without her best bud with whom she had so much fun.
Lou Lou hates kibble but loves to hunt since she was rescued at a year old - she had been hunting in the wild, surviving on her own for her first year on the planet.
She was quarantined because she has bitten a farmer and she was always getting loose and running away.
A writer for my PR firm saw an ad for a "husky at a shelter" in the paper. She knew I had one husky and thought I might like another. So I rescued this beautiful dog from Foothills Animal Shelter... a kill shelter.
Lou Lou enjoys our country place since there's lots of space to run around and lots of trees for shade. She is high energy and spends her time digging and catching bugs, an interesting past-time ~ when she catches a bee she shakes her head and we laugh and say I guess she likes the spice.
