Ito is my pet pig. He looks great doesn't he? I've had him for 1 year so far and really have a lot of laughs.
My Dad let me get a Guinea Pig as a reward for doing well in school last year. Dad thought Ito was "way" expensive, but little does he know that I'm hoping to get a car the same way, maybe in two more years! :-) Well I can always hope.
Ito (eato) is well named as he eats like crazy. He really likes lettuce so my Mom is always getting tons of it when she goes shopping. This pet pig enjoys all the toys I got for him at the pet store and his fav is a jingle ball that he pushes around the kitchen floor when he is let out to run around... when I need to clean his cage (almost every day!).
I never had a pet before but think that having a Guinea Pig is a good pet to start with because they are fun, quiet, and not too hard to take care of. I'd really like to have a dog, but my Dad doesn't think I would take care of it on my own, so this is a way to prove that I can take responsibility... which may help also with that car decision!
