Million Dollar Pet Pix

Not everyone has a pet peacock in their back yard, but for the residents in the Jensen Beach area of Florida, seeing peacocks strutting around sidewalks is an everyday occurence, thanks to a park that has been donated and designated as a sanctuary.

Since I go for walks each day in this area I've come to think of these birds as neighborhood pets... and have named this guy Strut, for obvious reasons.

It is so great to see the beautiful colours of the tail feathers when Strut and his buddies fan their tails out when they strut around the park. They're just gorgeous! So thought I'd post them here for everyone to enjoy. Hope you like them.

We even have a peacock crossing sign. How about that!
