Hi everyone! This is my pet mouse Chatter. I got him for Christmas. No, he wasn't in my stocking, but actually in a wire cage with a bunch of pet toys. That's what made me notice the cage that was lightly covered with tissue paper... there was a lt of funny noises coming from under the paper.
I had hoped to get a pet for Christmas. Thought maybe it would be a fluffy Webkinz from Santa, but this little guy is way cool. It s so neat to watch him play on his exercise wheel. He scambles around after this little jingle ball and can never quite catch it. This always makes me laugh. This little critter clicks his little claws around our kitchen floor when my Mom is not home.
One day I thought I'd lost Chatter. She went behind our entertainment unit in the family room. Shhhhh! Don't tell her, she is crazy afraid of mice. If she ever knew that Chatter ran around the kitchen counters running after my racing cars Mom would just have a fit!
Chatter likes to play at night a lot. when I am going to bed he seems to be getting more energy and if I am up in the night I hear his exercise wheel and jingle ball going like crazy. Chatter doesn't really make a lot of noise himself. Sometimes I call him Chitter-Chatter when we are playing. I named him Chatter cause he always seems sorta hunched up, like he's cold or something.
I hope to get a pal for Chatter next month... another little mouse, a white one I hope. I still have to convince my Mom, and that may take a lot more time and "chatter"!
