Monkey Toes is a very special pal. He represents the love of a a person who is, in his own right, a "real pet" as we say here in th UK. This lovely little monkey has been on many overseas and cross-country journeys over many years. Toes, as we call him, travels with whichever spouse is on the go. When I am packing to go anywhere, Monkey Toes is lovingly slipped into my suitcase... even for short overnight stays.
Toes was a gift from my husband on one of his return trips. The expression on this endearing little monkey makes us both laugh. He always looks startled and at the same time sympathetic and even wise.
Who says stuffed animals are just for kids? Hope you can see, despite his age and condition, just how well-loved and delightful this little monkey really is and why he brings us a special pet-like bond!
