B.A.R.K.
Established in September 2001,The Bytown Association for Rescued Kanines (B.A.R.K.) is an all breed "no kill" rescue organization. This registered charity in Ottawa Ontario Canada (REGISTERED CHARITY NO. 868956418RR0001), comprised solely of dedicated and experienced volunteers.
2009 marks the 3rd annual B.A.R.K.s Dog Picnic as one of their primary fundraisers.
Games held during the picnic include Musical Dogs, Wienie Race and Recall Race. Contests include Best Dressed Dog, Dog/Owner Look Alike, Best Trick, Best Looking Dog and Most Talkative Pet. A Silent Auction is also part of this annual pet event.
