Betty-Boo is my blue Siamese Fighting Fish (also called a Blue Beta fish) given to me by an office associate for my birthday. This person and I sometimes challenge each other about work, so this seemed a fitting gift.
I had never owned a fish before, so I had to quickly learn all about feeding and tank maintenence. I also had to quickly learn what types of fish can live with Beta fish, since they are vry fierce and would just as soon have me for dinner as look at me. I actually got a red Beta to share the tank and that worked all right for a while, but now we're back to just Betty-Boo. She is lovely to watch and doens't make a lot of noise, (lol) which I like in a pet.
I love the colors of this beautiful fish and how graceful she is when see glides around. I am planning to get a much larger fish tank for her, but one that has a second part where other fish can safely swim apart from Betty-Boo.
I'm hoping to get a good buy on eBay for a really large wall-sized fish tank as this little fighter has given me a new and enjoyable pastime.
