Lola is every ounce a lady and seems to love it when our young daughter Becky dresses her up in fancy togs like she is here in this pix.
Lola trots around the house in her frilly sweaters and accessories as though she dressed herself. She spends a lot of time in front of our hall mirror looking at the outfits she is dressed in.
When our daughter used to try dressing our cat, it was not the same at all. The cat would quickly wriggle out of whatever outfit was put on her and make a quick exit to her favorite hiding place.
Lola is different though... you would think that she almost helps to choose the outfits herself! It's just facsinating to watch. Sometimes she will pull off an item but when another is replaced that she likes, she saunters around the place showing off her new glam look.
We buy a number of dog magazines and Lola is always interested in looking at these with Becky. Lola also notices other dogs that are dressed up. She meets them in our appartment foyer, on the street and on the T.V. It always surprises us that she seems to pay attention to this... almost as though these dogs are comparing couturiers!
Lola is our star and we are glad to be able to show her off here in this pet time capsule. Thanks!
