This is a photo of our beloved Snooks who we know is now in pet heaven. We got Snooks when he was just a pup and he quickly became part of our family. Like all great dogs, Snooks or Snookie as we sometimes called him, would welcome us with a big grin, ots of yapping and sometimes a lot of jumping.
My best memory of Snooks was when he would go camping with us. He'd jump into the middle of our canoe and when we got close enough to shore he'd jump out and streak along the beach at top speed like a bullet train. His beautiful silver coat would just sparkle in the sun. In winter, he would enjoy pulling us along on a toboggan. Snooks was the greatest pet in the world to us. We still think of him after all these long years whenever we go camping or see other Husky dogs in sled-dog races.
