A boarding kennel is like a pet hotel in a sense. The kennel owner is someone who cares for other people's pets at the kennel when required.

Kennel stays are usually required by people who (for one reason or another... yes, size would count here!)can't take their pet with them on holidays, business trips, or hospital stays and so need someone to care for their pet during these times.

The role of the kennel owner therefore is really important. They must ensure that all of their pet guests are safe, secure and well cared for by proper feeding, hygiene, exercise and generaly the attention one would expect to feel comfortable and welcomed.

The pet often gets to enjoy the company of other pet guests whose owners are away for a while. The kennel owner makes sure that everyone gets along together and are kept safe.
