Anyone who has watched Walt Disney's 101 Dalmations can quickly identify this dog breed when they see it. This breed of dog is classed as a non-sporting group of dog at dog show competitions such as Crufts and Westminster Dog Shows.

The Shar Pei comes from China and is considered he rarest dog in the world! That would make this a dog breed a true star pet in its own right.
It loves getting attention and likes togo for long walks. It is a great companion animal for families. Just seeing a Shar Pei makes one laugh, as they always appear so sad, no matter how happy they might be. 
The Shar Pei is a smart dog breed and is quite easily trained. Good thing that wrinkles don't hurt though!

Shetland Ponies with their "big hair" and even bigger personality are quite popular as pet pals for children. They are endearing, small, funny-looking little horses and generally the Classic type (original) make good companions because of their gentle personalities.
Because of their small size, averaging between 28 to 42 inches in height, (smaller than a Great Dane dog), they are often chosen as the ideal pony for teaching children to ride a horse... a kid sized horse that means there's not far to fall if one slips off by accident!

The very large and beautiful Newfoundlander dog breed can weigh up to 150 pounds (the size of many adult humans)... wow! Needles to say, it eats tons of food... not unlike the St. Bernard dog from Switzerland.
The Newfoundland dog is classed as a working dog in dog show competitions. It is believed that this dog breed was first brought to newfoundland in Canada by famous explorer Leif Erikson. As a working dog, the Newfoundlander has been employed for years pulling fishing nets for fishermen.

How it works...
There are six dogs on each team. Four of those dogs are allowed to run at each heat (session). One at a time, the dogs have to run over 4 jumps, hit a pressure triggered box that projects a tennis ball, the dog must catch the tennis ball, and return OVER all four jumps.
