What Hollywood Stars Name Their Pets...
 While you or I might think of pet names they are often short, sweet and simple... such as Max, Buddy, Jake, Buster, Lucy, Sophie, Jazz or Sport, some Hollywood celebrities have other ideas. While some celebrities name their pets as we might, there are also many interesting distinctions. Names for pets in movies are also note-worthy... such as Reese Witherspoon's "Bruiser".
For example, Rob Thomas has a dog he calls Tyler, while Tori Spelling calls her dog Mimi Larue. Jessica Alba has a pug named Syd, while Demi Moore has a Chihauhau she calls Vida Blue. Jenna Elfman named her pet Pug Guinevere and Will Smith's Rottweilers are called Indo and Zhaki. Jane Seymour has a Shih Tzu she has named Souki and a Golden Retriever she calls Crispin.
Peri Gilpin has Charlie the ChowChow and Debutante a Heinz 57 while Helen Hunt has a Samoyed named Johnny while Mathew McConaughey has a Lab/Chow mix he calls Miss Hud. Bob Barker, the leader of the Spay and Neuter Campaign named his dog Jesse. This part Golden Retriever part Chow was adopted from a pet shelter. He named his two pet rabbits Mr. Rabbit and Honey Bunny. Simple and not-so-simple pet names...
In pet guidelines, it is suggested that people remember to choose a pet name that will be easy to use when calling for their pet's attention. And one that is not similar to or part of other words, which might confuse the pet when he hears these other words.

These celebrities make it easy to call their pets... Jessica Simpson has a Maltipoo she has named Daisy while Jude Law has named his pet pals Porgy and Bess. Alicia Silverstone's pet Poodle is called Baby, while Renee Zellweiger's Setter is called Dylan. Hollywood stars own many Designr dogs. Besides a Maltipoo a number of celebs own Puggle dogs (a Poodle-Beagle cross). They include Jake Gyllenhaal, James Gandolfini and Sylvester Stallone.
Britt Ekland has a dog named Tequilla, and Alicia Silverstone has Rottweiler/Pit Bull cross she has named Samson. Sophie and Solomon are the names of two of the American Cocker Spaniels that are part of Oprah's growing family fo pets. Michael J. Fox calls his Dalmation Bosco and Chuck Norris has a White Shepherd he has named Angel.
We understand that Linda Blair has a Staffordshire Terrier she rescued and calls him Sunny. Her other dog, a Queensland Heeler is called Missy. Andrea Bowen's Yorkshire pup is called Maxie. Jennifer Love Hewitt has a King Charles Spaniel she calls Charli while Steve Martin's Yellow Lab is called Roger. Shirley McClaine has a Boxer named Ceasar, Fran Drescher a Pomeranian named Chester Drescher, Gwyneth Paltrow has a Black Lab called Holden while Kelsey Grammer is a pet guardian to Bea, Jet, Red, Buster, Tussen and Zen. Wow!
Some of these Hollywood celebrities have not given their pets such easy-to-say names however and it would be fun and interesting to hear them call on their pets... wouldn't you agree?
For instance, Adam Sandler's Bulldog is named Meatball, while Kristen Bell's pet is Mr. Winkle. Imagine it... "Here Meatball, Meatball, Meatball"... "Here Mr. Winkle, Mr. Winkle, Mr. Winkle"... well you see where we're going with this...
"T-Bone" or "Winky" would seem like much more simple pet name options... agree?
