Getting a pixel block for your special pet in the PetPix Time Capsule means that you are capturing a moment in time with your pet that you want to preserve for the future.
In keeping with the time capsule concept then, once you have provided us with your pet's photos and stories they are then locked into the PetPix Time Capsule. So be sure to send in the story or bio that you really want others to see, as there will be no changes later! 
Unlike a time capsule however, even though your pet's info is locked into the PetPix Time Capsule, it is viewable to the world, with the star marker you've chosen as the key into your pet's corner of fame.
