 There was this magician who owned a large talkative red-headed parrot that he aptly named Snipes.
Every single time the magician did his magic act, this bratty parrot would spoil the trick. Snipes would scream out, "It's up his sleeve" or "It's in his mouth" or "It's right behind him."
Now, the magician was getting pretty sick of this, but didn't quite know what to do.
One night, right at the height of the magician's act, just as he was about to disappear in a puff of smoke, the ship they were performing on hit an iceberg and sank in seconds.
Amazingly the magician and Snipes were the only two survivors. The magician was lying dazed and bleeding on a floating piece of furniture. As he opened his eyes he could see the parrot staring at him out its beady little eye. Snipes, the parrot, sat there for hours just staring at the magician.
Eventually, Snipes said, "Okay, okay, I give up already! What the heck did you do with the ship?"
