How Does the Sold Counter Work? |
Every time someone buys a pixel in the PetPix Time Capsule for pets and their order is confirmed, the SOLD counter on the top of the time capsule changes. This lets visitors know how many pixels are sold and how many are still available for purchase.
Why the numbers are always an even number?
Good question! First of all, the counter measures the total number of pixels that are sold... not stars.
The pixel blocks that display a star are actually square in shape and sized in even numbers...
A single square (pixel block) is 10 pixels x 10 pixels for a total of 100 pixels.
A double-sized sqaure (pixel block) that lets you have a bigger star is 20 pixels x 20 pixels, or 400 pixels.
