The AquaEquid and The Unicorn...
We all know that a Seahorse is not a horse per se but is a fish with fins and gills. Seahorses are related to the very beautiful Leafy Sea Dragon. But if there is such a thing as a horse that lives in water what would it be called? Why an AquaEquid of course... Aqua for water and Equid for horse! So we can say the AquaEquid is a myth just like the winged horse called the Unicorn. Here is a funny poem for you about these mythological horses.
The AquaEquid and the Unicorn
The AquaEquid and Unicorn went to the park,
The Equid thought that flying was a bit of a lark,
The Unicorn said horses living in a lake so dark,
Was as crazy as a thinking as snakes that bark.
The AquaEquid and Unicorn went to the zoo,
The Equid was looking for other mammals that flew,
The Unicorn showed him a bat which ate fruit,
Along with the crazy big cat that ate stew.
The AquaEquid and Unicorn went down to the sea,
The Equid just wanted to swim and be free,
The Unicorn flew away not waiting for tea,
A crazy flying horse for all to see!
The AquaEquid and Unicorn romped and played,
But the Equid knew they no longer could stay,
The Unicorn knew this was their best day
Before these two crazy horses would fade away.
