My Taurus Parrot Is Sulky |

Hi there Linda!
My pet lorikeet, Petey, just turned one year old on April 27th. For the past couple of weeks this Taurus parrot seems to be just sulking around, quiet and disinterested. I've tried getting him to play with his toys and even his mirror doesn't interest him. Usually very affectionate he's now stand-offish. I'm wondering what might be wrong with him. Petey's appetite is good, so I don't think he is sick. I always thought that when we creatures, (people and animals), are at the high point of our zodiac sign we are at our very best and happiest. Any idea what Petey's problem could be. Thanks for any help. - Babs

Sorry to hear about your sulky parrot. Somethimes Taurus animals truly enjoy being couch potatoes or in Peteys case cage potatoes.
His sunny personality probably won't show up much before the New Moon in Taurus on the 5th. Venus joins mercury, the Moon and sun are in his sign on the 1st and theres a lovely grand trine in earth planets that make him shine. His sulky moood should start perking up a bit then.
It wouldnt hurt to prasie his beauty/handsomeness and let him know he's number one as much as possible. As with any Taurus, you should indulge your pet lorikeet with extra creature comforts (maybe a new perch made of real branches) and soon he'll be back on the road to happiness. Sunshine helps too, so if you can put his cage near a window or outdoors in the warmth for short spells.
