Many of you know Jill Rappaport who is a news correspondent for the TODAY Show. One of her segments is called "From Bow to Wow." It is about giving puppies, waiting for adoption, "doggie makeovers" on national television. It is fun and heart-warming to see the transformations and care. Some of you may even have seen her three-legged dog named Jack on the Oprah show...
Jill has written a book entitled, "Jack and Jill." Jack was her German
Shepherd mix who recently died after a two year battle with cancer.
The story is about an abandoned puppy that Jill rescued. Jill named
this abandoned puppy Jack, and together they lived on a farm. Jack and
Jill had a great life together until one day when Jack's leg started to
hurt and it was found that he had bone cancer. "Jack & Jill is the
story of a brave dog and his loving owner making it up the hill
together. Told from Jack's point of view and with beautiful photographs
by Linda Solomon, the message of hope in this book will inspire
children and adults alike."
